Phillies-Mets rained out

NEW YORK (AP) – Last night's National League game between the Philadelphia Phillies and the New York Mets was postponed due to heavy rains at Shea Stadium, a Met spokesman announced.

The game will be made up later in the season. The Phillies visit New York twice more this season, in mid-August and mid-September.

The Mets and Phillies have games scheduled for tonight and tomorrow night at Shea Stadium.
