May 17, 1980 - Phillies 4, Houston 2

Larry Christenson homered in the 2nd inning.
Larry Christenson homered in the 2nd inning.

In this game, all of the runs were scored early. Though Larry Bowa gets credited with the game-winning RBI, it was Larry Christenson who provided the lion's share of the offense with a three-run homer in the second inning. The Astros scored two off of L.C. in the third, but Phils' pitchers kept the Houston offense at bay the rest of the game. Kevin Saucier threw three innings of shutout relief, and Dickie Noles pitched a perfect ninth inning to earn his third save.
