June 14, 1980

The Phillies took on San Diego once more, and this time they can armed with Steve Carlton.  Lefty got all he would need in home runs from Greg Luzinski and Mike Schmidt in winning his 11th game.  Luzinski's shot was his 15th - he would hit only four more on the season.  Schmidt's was his 20th - he would continue his torrid pace, hitting 28 more to lead the league.
