June 13, 1980

Former Cy Young Award winner Randy Jones didn't have time to get comfortable on the mound before he was sent to the showers.  Jones, who won the award with the Padres in 1976, failed to record an out in giving up five runs to the Phils, including a two-run homer to Mike Schmidt.  The outburst helped Dick Ruthven, who was not particularly effective himself, gain his sixth win.
