May 3, 1980 - Phillies 7, Los Angeles 3

This Phils jumped out to a big lead early, and never relinquished it. The Phillies scored six runs in the second inning, chasing Los Angeles starter Burt Hooten out of the box. Though they only scored one more run (off Bobby Castillo in the fourth inning), the Phils had more than enough to win this game. Larry Christenson went 6-2/3 innings to earn the victory with Lerrin LaGrow mopping up. Both Schmidt and Luzinski went back-to-back in the second inning. That was followed by a rare Bob Boone triple.
